Mercedes-Benz Service Care Plans are now available for vehicles without any age restriction
For owners with Mercedes-Benz vehicles over seven years old, a service care plan is now available so you and ensure that servicing costs are kept as flexible and affordable as possible.
With prices from £27 per month for a new Mercedes-Benz, and £23 per month for a used Mercedes-Benz, Service Care benefits include a set price for the length of the plan, with prices of parts and labour guaranteed for up to four services, at the customer’s choice of Retailer – any Mercedes-Benz site across the UK.
In addition, the plan also ensures manufacturer-trained technicians using only Mercedes-Benz GenuineParts (which come with a two year unlimited mileage warranty) are used, and if the time comes to sell the vehicle and the Service Care plan has been paid up-front, the plan can be transferred to the new owner.
Service Care also covers any additional items which are required at the time of service, including brake fluid, spark plugs, air filter, fuel filter and screen wash.
During 2012, more than 40,000 Service Care plans were taken out by Mercedes-Benz and smart owners, of which more than 10,000 were with the purchase of a new car; an increase of more than 50% over the previous year. Out of all the Service Care plan sales, 45% were covering the next three consecutive services, with the C-Class customers accounting for almost 14,000 of the plans.
Depending on the model, prices for Mercedes-Benz Service Care start from less than £1 per day, with two services that can be spread over 12- or 24-months, three services that can be spread over 12-, 24- or 36-months, and four services that can be spread over 12-, 24-, 36- or 48-months.
Alternatively, customers can pay a single, up-front payment, giving the benefit of being able to pass on any unused services if the vehicle is sold.
