No doubt this is a beautiful new XF, however the press information for the car was so lengthy that to sum it up became an issue of what to choose. There are just features and more features.
First the price starting at a rather good £32,300. Emissions starting at just 104 g/km and fuel economy up to a combined 71.7 mpg, by the way, the emissions are lower than any hybrid model in the segment.

In the dash, a whopping 10.2inch touchscreen infotainment system, with seamless connectivity, 17 speakers and 825W of glorious Meridian sound. Even more nerdy features come with a reconfigurable 12.3 inch instrument cluster with full screen navigation and a customisable visual display.
The power, from 163PS 2.0-Litre Ingenium diesel is mated to a six speed manual or a lovely 380PS V6 supercharged petrol engine with an eight speed automatic transmission.
The suspension, a double-wishbone and Integral Link set-up for an exceptional ride, sporty handling, and unrivalled refinement. Some models are equipped with an All-Surface Progress Control for effortless driving away, on snow and ice – all the driver has to do is steer.
Just a few more to go, the full ‘must have’ great looking LED headlights, a laser head-up display with full colour images, autonomous emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, with queue assist, lane keep assist, intelligent speed limiter and semi-automated parking. Oh, yes I have just spotted park assist.
The all-new XF range will consist of: XF Prestige, XF R-Sport, XF Portfolio, XF S.
The all-new XF powertrain range will consist of: 163PS and 180PS 2.0-litre diesel manual and automatic; RWD 300PS 3.0 V6 diesel automatic; RWD 380PS 3.0-litre V6 petrol automatic.
The all-new XF joins the Jaguar saloon car range between the XE and XJ model lines.
