A 576 bhp Bentley Continental GT carved a trail through Switzerland’s Alpine passes maximising the use of its four wheel drive.
The action took place deep in the Saanenland region around Gstaad. Bentleys guests – (please invite me next time) had the chance to test their winter driving skills in a Bentley Continental GT, GTC and Flying Spur. The cars are renowned for their all-wheel drive performance, safe, sports car handling, style and practicality even in the harshest alpine conditions of Gstaad.
[portfolio_slideshow]The cars were joined by Ski joring expert Franco Moro, a 16 x world champion. Normally this alpine sport involves being strapped behind a horse, not 567 of them, and being towed behind the Bentley Continetal GT, his advice was : ‘Hold on tight!’

Ski joring expert Franco Moro, world champion 16 times with 27 years experience, demonstrates this Alpine sport, which usually involves strapping on skis and being pulled behind a horse. He notches up another first, this time around a track below the Videmanette lift in Rougemont, on a pair of zai for Bentley skis attached to the back of a 567bhp (575PS) Continental GT with a 6-litre W12 engine and four-wheel drive. His advice to first-timers: ‘Hold on tight!’
Bentley’s ski partner zai offered even more exhilaration on the piste.
