Abarth has just announced the pricing for its newest pint pot racer the Abarth 695 Maserati Edition with an on the road price of £32k and a limited edition run of just 499 cars.

This ultra hot Abarth 695 Maserati with 180 bhp and its turbocharged 1.4 litre engine. Follows on from the success of the ultra cool and expensive Abarth 695 Tributo Ferrari cars of three years ago.
This model will take it all a step further with a collaboration with Maserati. The car will epitomise the comfort and elegance of a true GT car with handling and performance to match. The chassis has been developed to cope with the extra power and brakes beefed up with front Brembo monobloc callipers and floating 305mm discs. Koni special shock absorbers guarantee the inspired handing. The exhaust with a variable back preasure mode adds to the performance and roar of the car over 3000rpm.

The expensive looking paintwork is a special Maserati colour Pontevecchio Bordeaux. the interior has seats finished in a sand beige leather and a special matt finish carbon lined dash, 695 logos are added around the interior just in case you forget where you are. The Abarth leather steering wheel with tricolour hub, houses the steering wheel gearbox controls. Instruments have been specifically commissioned by the Jaeger brand to add to the overall effect. More subtle details include the obligatory aluminium pedal unit and sill scuff plates, a carbon fibre kick plate with custom Abarth 695 Maserati Edition motif, and a limited edition plate showing the car’s series number from 1 to 499.
