At the end of my week with the new four-door Audi A7 Sportback 50 TDI, I checked my average fuel consumption. The read-out from the onboard computer was unbelievable, simply incredible. I scrolled through the system again to make sure I was getting the final average for the whole week, not the figure for trundling down my drive at the end of my last trip. When we arrived at Birmingham Airport, Mazda provided a Mazda6 for us to drive away to the launch venue in the Cotswolds.
