Readly, an app that lets users read digital newspapers and magazines is teaming up with Škoda to provide owners with free access to the brand’s vast content library. The Readly app offers Škoda users two months of free reading as part of a pioneering relationship in the car market.
This offer is valid for new and existing Škoda customers and those who have bought a new model in the past four years. A customer’s online infotainment system with a screen bigger than nine inches is also required.
The offer, which grants users access to Readly’s collection of 7,700 digital publications and newspapers, may be accessed by scanning a QR code displayed in the Offers menu of the infotainment system of participating vehicles. After scanning, owners can begin their free trial on Readly by going to a landing page on their mobile device. Once the trial ends, owners can continue with a paid subscription (£12.99/month) or cancel.
“We are thrilled by this collaboration, which is an innovative way to reach our target audience and collaborate with Škoda, a like-minded family brand,” commented Marie-Sophie von Bibra, Chief Marketing Officer at Readly, while commenting on the new alliance. If you’re a new car owner who loves to fiddle with the controls, then the Readly app is a great way to keep the kids occupied on long car rides, unwind at rest stops and charging stations, and learn all about your new ride’s features and tricks of the trade.
By simply clicking a few buttons on the screen and receiving a confirmation email, you may activate the Offers infotainment app, which is completely linked with Škoda’s in-car system. Their purpose is to notify owners about local sales and promotions, so drivers may save money and get great deals while on the road. The infotainment screen is where the offer is triggered. However, content can then only be viewed on a smartphone or tablet.
