Something different from this years Goodwood Festival of Speed
Nissan set its sights on claiming a new record at the Goodwood Festival of Speed 2011 on 1-3 July. The amazing drive of the NIssan Juke by stunt driver Terry Grant looked effortless. The 4×4 hustled past at a reasonable pace up the hill to become the fastest four-wheeled machine to climb the entire course using just two wheels. Highly impressive, although the record Nissan wanted to break was to send the Nissan Leaf, which can do 90mph in reverse due to its electric motors be driven up the Goodwood Hill backwards. This attempt was considered too risky on safety grounds for the Goodwood course.
The Nissan Juke driven by Professional stunt driver, Terry Grant, was the man attempting the record and performing the stunt each day.
Terry Grant said: “I’ve experienced Goodwood before but never attempted to set a new record. I will hopefully provide everyone with a very entertaining spectacle.”
