Damien Dally, Head of Brand, Alfa Romeo UK says; ‘The Goodwood Festival of Speed is a celebration of passion and performance, and this year Alfa Romeo is bringing the party. We’ve got three fantastic musical acts that will resonate well with the Goodwood crowd. These intimate acoustic sessions should bring a touch of festival magic to the proceedings. Alfa’s 2012 appearance at Goodwood is going to be one to remember.’
The Goodwood Festival of Speed 2012, also sees the launch of the award winning two-cylinder TwinAir engine in the Alfa MiTo. The introduction of this engine into the Alfa MiTo range reinforces the image of the MiTo as a high-tech, sporty, compact car offering maximum driving pleasure. The engine guarantees a great level of responsiveness and agility thanks to its 85 bhp at 5,500 rpm, and 145 Nm of torque. The resultant performance comes together with a significant reduction in emissions – just 98g/km of CO2.
