DS Automobiles are the Official Supporter at the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew for the latest exhibition of Dale Chihuly the world’s most celebrated contemporary glass artist.
The works are being exhibited in Kew Gardens one of London’s most spectacular settings for this perfect marriage of art, science and nature. This being for the iconic artist only his second visit to the UK.
Chihuly is famous worldwide for his dazzling glass sculptures. Throughout his 50-year career, his work has been exhibited in more than 240 museums around the world. In his artistic explorations, as well as glass, Chihuly uses paint, charcoal, graphite, neon, ice, and Polyvitro to explore possibilities and realise his vision.
The event is also being used by DS to showcase their latest developments in electrification through the E-TENSE signature. In 2019 DS is launching their latest products – with BEV (Battery electric vehicles) and PHEV (Plug-in, Hybrid petrol-Electric vehicles) becoming available in their E-TENSE range. This new strategy is leading the brand to a new world of models that are fully electric or high-performance plug-in hybrid in combination with a suite of dedicated services.
