A hot date that can’t wait, the video features a driver racing through Paris for a romantic rendezvous. The stylish original ‘C’était un rendez-vous’ was filmed in 1976 by Claude Lelouch and showed an audacious drive through the Paris streets in the early hours.
“I had goose bumps watching ‘C’etait un Rendez-vous’ 40 years later in virtual reality. At the time, my movie was about the feeling of freedom and the pleasure driving generates. I knew that Ford would do more than just a tribute to the original in this new version.”This latest version takes a similar route past all the finest landmarks in Paris with a surprise at the end. Recreating the route was a modern challenge as many roads have since disappeared. Viewers control the camera angle and virtual environment as the Mustang races through the streets.
