From launch HR-V comes with a choice of fuel busting 1.6 litre i-DTEC diesel and 1.5 litre i-VTEC petrol engines, both using Honda’s advanced Earth Dreams Tech.
Combining the 1.6 litre i-DTEC diesel paired with a new six-speed manual HR-V. The car will return fuel economy figures from 71mpg, with CO2 emissions starting from just 104 g/km. There is no compromise on the performance due to the car‘s economic abilities. The 118bhp will power the new HR-V from 0-62mph in 10.1 seconds.
Petrol lovers can purchase a 130 PS 1.5 litre i-VTEC engine, achieving combined fuel economy of 54.2mpg and CO2 emissions from 120 g/km when they opt for the CVT automatic transmission. When married with the standard six-speed manual, the new petrol-powered HR-V delivers fuel economy of 50mpg and CO2 emissions at a highly competitive 130 g/km. Sprightly performance is assured with 62mph reached from standstill in just 10.3 seconds with the manual and 10.9 seconds when equipped with the optional CVT.
All-New HR-V will offer class-leading boot space of 453 litres with the rear seats up and 1,026 litres with the rear seats down. Just as versatile the HR-V’s interior space incorporates Honda’s highly practical instant folding Magic Seats.
Honda is excited about this new compact crossover it, has the looks and performance to compete head on with the market leading Nissan Qashqai.
