Suzuki Sales Make a Bigger Splash

Suzuki sales jump up 30% on same period last year.

The popularity of Suzuki cars is increasing, their fun to drive and distinctive styling is now matched with increased sales. Third Quarter registrations for the company of 8,200 units, a 30 per cent increase on Suzuki sales over the same period in 2011. September registration figures were also particularly strong at 5,859 units and sales have recently overtaken last year’s full year figure of 20,967 by 663 units and with almost three months still to run.

 

Suzuki is currently running at 130 per cent of target and the projection is to reach 25,000 units for full year 2012 – an increase of almost 5,000 cars compared to last year.

Reasons for the sharp increase in Suzuki sales include Have to have it Suzuki’s impactful and humorous TV campaign for its range together with positive response from the extended VAT free offers. There is also evidence of new customers downsizing to Suzuki’s small, inexpensive to own and fun to drive cars.
