The All-New Mazda MX-5 – unveiled last week at Barcelona – will make its European debut at the 2014 Paris Motor Show next month.
Featuring brand new styling influenced by the KODO Soul of Motion theme, the MX-5 mark IV is the latest incarnation of the Japanese firm’s world-famous roadster. A lighter body and efficient new SKYACTIV-G high-compression engines, promise to make the new model even more fun to drive than before. Just like its predecessors, the new MX-5 is expected to offer the traditional feel of a roadster, with rear-wheel drive, while the cabin will still feel snug and driver-orientated. But now, more technology features – such as MZD Connect smartphone connectivity and a new array of active safety technology, dubbed i-ACTIVSENSE. [portfolio_slideshow]
Of course, the main ingredients that have been integral to the MX-5 throughout its 25 year existence – charm and personality – will come as standard.
As you might expect, the latest version of Mazda’s iconic sports car will be the Japanese firm’s star exhibit at the show (pavilion 3, stand 219). Press previews begin on 2nd October, with the public show running from 4-19th October.
