Peugeot’s exciting new RCZ Coupe a sporty and compact 2+2 with innovative styling and the first of Peugeot’s “leisure vehicles”. Now on sale in the UK this Spring and perfectly placed to compete head on with the Audi TT. The entry level RCZ 156 THP manual model will start at an on-the-road price of £19,900. With an exotic look and the coolest double bubble roof on the road taking me back to the Zagatos of old. The fastest version with a top speed of 147mph (237kph) and a 0-60 time of just under 7.5 seconds.

How long before VW re-incarnates that cool looking 2+2 that we all loved from long ago, the 1962 model I had was quite special.
There will be two trim levels available with the entry trim level including: 18” alloy wheels, sports front seats, dual zone air-conditioning, folding rear seat, rear parking aid, deadlocks, selective access locking, alarm and immobiliser, four airbags, ESP, EBFD, EBA, ABS, double bubble rear screen, black roof panel, active rear spoiler, twin rear sports’ exhaust…
The second trim level will add: leather interior, electric heated front seats, carpet mats, front parking aid, auto tilting (when reversing) door mirrors, automatic lights, follow-me-home lighting, automatic windscreen wipers, automatic exterior approach lighting, 19” alloy wheels. Leather front sports seats…
A range of personalization options will also be available including different style 19” alloy wheels, carbon roof panel (gloss black), carbon roof panel (satin finish), integral leather, Peugeot connect media navigation 3D (NG4), xenon headlamps, directional lights, gloss black brake calipers, black roof arches, matt roof arches, JBL Hi Fi Pack etc…
As much as I like the Audi TT, this car is just so well made, more fun and costs about 20% less, entertaining to drive and finally Peugeot are back with some more exciting cars on the way. I eagerly anticipate the next additions.
