The SEAT Ateca SUV marks the start of new era

Just unveiled in Barcelona last night, the first SUV from the super stylish Spanish brand.

Launching in the UK in September the Ateca will be available in a wide range of variants. With a choice of powerful petrol and diesel engines from 115PS to 190PS. Front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive models are on the cards, matched with manual or dual-clutch DSG transmissions.

More than enough of the latest safety tech will be on board, along with touch screen connectivity and full LED headlamps. The new car is aiming to be fun to drive, a versatile addition to an active urban life.

The Ateca derives its name from Spanish geography, in keeping with the SEAT tradition. This time the car takes inspiration from the village of the same name which lies in the west of Zaragoza, right in the heart of the brand’s homeland.
