The factory will build the Tesla Model S. The car leading the electric car revolution throughout the world.

Parts will be manufactured at the US factory in California. The new location assembly line installs the battery pack, powertrain and rear axle, and the cars first firmware upload. Each Model S is then finished with Tesla’s thorough quality control testing.

The New factory is the first in Europe with its own 750 metre indoor test track. The test track puts Model S through its final paces to ensure that Tesla’s high standards are maintained with each vehicle.

Tesla expansion in Europe continues at a pace. The company now has 69 stores and service centres across 12 countries in the EU. Tesla’s now has installed 1000 of its own electric Superchargers, stretching from Norway to Slovenia and the United Kingdom to Spain. Using Superchargers and the newly launched destination charging, Model S customers are able to travel extensively and easily over long distances in Europe.
