The all conquering Toyota Landcruiser has entered its 60th anniversary year in style. Glass’s Guide has calculated the vehicle to be the best performer with the best residual value than any other UK model in 2011. The Glass’s has shown a 2008 (57 plate) 3 Liter D-4D can still be sold for 72.2% of its original price. The top ten list would have also included other Land Cruiser models had it not been restricted to the highest ranking in the range.
Adrian Rushmore managing editor of Glass’s Guide, said: “The Toyota Land Cruiser has never been a victim of distress marketing by the manufacturer and this has ensured used examples have been in very limited supply. It enjoys the credentials of being a durable and reliable workhorse, an image that has endured for many years.”
Land cruisers have an exceptional reputation for lasting quality and a rugged ability in the world’s toughest places. The latest models remain true to the original design methodology from its earliest ancestors. The new models make full use of all the latest technologies and deliver a fantastic product.
