The President of Volvo in New Stunt video: The Hook

Volvo Trucks has created another stunt video. In a daring new film, entitled “The Hook”, the President of Volvo Trucks Claes Nilsson stands on the front of a Volvo truck that has been hoisted via its own towing hook , 20 metres into the air. This latest release comes after Volvo’s sensational Youtube hit “The Ballerina Stunt”.

 
Claes Nilsson, President of Volvo Trucks, said: “This is just the beginning. I can assure you you’re going to see things that nobody in the truck world has ever done before. Well, I have to admit I had butterflies in my tummy before the event. I’m no mountain-climber and I don’t like heights. But I’d promised to do the stunt so I couldn’t very well back out.”

Since September 2012, Volvo Trucks has launched four new truck models. Each model will be subjected to spectacular testing. First off the mark was the film “The Ballerina Stunt” in which Faith Dickey slacklines between two trucks driving at full speed. More extreme tests are coming up this autumn.
