About Drive

A better way to get moving

Getting on the road looks different for everyone.

Some people want to buy a used car outright. Others prefer leasing because it suits how their life works right now. What's right for one person won't be right for the next, and that's fine. Circumstances change, priorities shift.

The hard part is usually making sense of all the options out there. That's what Drive is for. Drive is a digital marketplace that brings different ways of getting on the road into one place. You can explore a wide range of Volkswagen Group vehicles and funding options, see what's available, compare what actually matters to you, and make a decision that feels right.

Finding your next car should feel exciting, not exhausting. That's why we've built something simple and easy to navigate, designed around how real people actually go about this. No pressure. No unnecessary complexity. Just the support you need to move with confidence.

Common car buying questions

The quality check assesses the car from boot to bonnet, and is done onsite at the dealership by a skilled technician. Many of our dealers follow the manufacturer's approved used car standard. Others use the AA's recommended 128-point vehicle check before approving it for sale – and some go even further.

A vehicle history check verifies that your car hasn't been declared stolen, exported, scrapped or written off for insurance purposes, so there’s much less risk of an unwelcome surprise.
