Skoda Peaq tops the firm’s range, on sale now from £51,980
Seven-seater SUV is Skoda’s biggest and most practical EV ever
Up to 395-mile range
Skoda has launched the new Peaq, its biggest and most practical electric car yet, with seven seats, up to 395 miles of range and prices starting from £51,980. The flagship electric SUV is on sale now, with rear- and all-wheel-drive versions available.
Measuring almost 4.9 metres long, the Peaq sits at the top of Skoda’s growing electric-car range and is aimed squarely at larger families. All versions use a new 86kWh battery – the biggest fitted to a Skoda – while rapid charging at up to 199kW allows a 10-80% charge in around 28 minutes.
Practicality is a major focus, with Skoda claiming adults can comfortably use the third row of seats. There’s 299 litres of luggage space with all seven seats in use, increasing to 890 litres with the third row folded and 2,075 litres with both rear rows down. A further 37-litre storage compartment under the bonnet provides space for charging cables.
The Peaq is available in three trim levels, with prices ranging from £51,980 to £60,380. Buyers can choose between a 286PS rear-wheel-drive model with up to 395 miles of range or a more powerful 299PS all-wheel-drive version.

Skoda Peaq price and release date
The Skoda Peaq was previewed by Skoda’s Vision 7S concept car back in 2022, which previewed the arrival of Skoda's new 'Modern Solid' design. Four years on, the Peaq is now on sale in the UK, with prices starting at £51,980, rising to £60,380.

Skoda Peaq electric motor, battery and range
From launch, buyers have the choice of two Peaq versions – 90 and 90x – both powered by the same 86kWh (net) battery pack. The 286PS rear-wheel drive 90 option is available on all three trims, while the top two trims can also be had in 299PS 90x all-wheel drive variants.
Range for the all-wheel drive models is around 370 miles, rising to 395 miles on the mid-range 90 rear-wheel drive Peaq. All models can charge using a DC rapid charger at up to 199kW and can recharge from 10 to 80% in around 28 minutes.

Skoda Peaq design, interior and space
As with the recently launched Skoda Epiq, the Skoda Peaq features Skoda’s Modern Solid design language, most obviously at the front of the car, with its split level lights that Skoda calls the Tech Deck Face. On the Peaq, this is backlit with LEDs, while the headlights are Matrix LEDs. There are 19 to 21-inch alloy designs and nine paint finishes. In a first for a Skoda, flush door handles are standard fit.
On the inside, there are five designs to choose from, all favouring the use of friendlier, lighter fabrics. LED ambient lighting and a heated steering wheel feature on all models plus the largest panoramic roof ever fitted to a Skoda is available.
Practicality is a big selling point, with Skoda claiming that adults can travel in comfort in the rearmost pair of seats. With all seats in place, the Peaq offers 299 litres of boot space.
Drop the seats and space grows to a generous 890 litres, while folding both the second and third rows flat gives a total of 2,075 litres. There’s also a 37-litre front luggage space that fits the charging cables and the parcel shelf when it’s not in use.

Skoda Peaq technology, equipment and infotainment
The Peaq uses Skoda’s latest Android-based infotainment system. This offers both Skoda’s own apps and lets you use the likes of Spotify, YouTube and Google Maps if you prefer. You can also use your phone as the car’s key.
A 10-inch digital driver display is standard, while the main infotainment system is taken care of by a 13.6-inch vertical screen. Skoda will offer an augmented-reality head-up display and the option of an upgraded Sonos stereo from 2027.
Other tech highlights include the fact that the Peaq is the first Skoda to get wiper blades with integrated washers, while wireless phone charging, a USB socket integrated into the rear-view mirror, and an additional USB port in the third row are all included.

Skoda Peaq trim levels
In keeping with the rest of Skoda’s electric line-up, there are three trim levels to choose from. Entry-level Peaq SE L can be had in rear-wheel drive for only, and includes 19-inch alloys, LED headlights, an electric tailgate with virtual pedal and heated front and rear seats.
Mid-range Peaq Edition adds a greater choice of interior design options, matrix LED headlights, a horizontal light band and an Area View camera. Remote Park Assist and Trained Parking are also included – useful given the car’s size.
At the top of the Peaq range is the SportLine, which gets 20-inch Okapi alloys, black exterior detailing, sports seats and Dynamic Chassis Control fitted as standard. Both Edition and SportLine models come with a choice of rear and all-wheel drive.
