Mazda Approved Used Cars for Sale

  • Find an Approved Used Mazda

  • Approved Used explained

  • What benefits are included?

Horse and rider, car and driver is the philosophy that goes into every Mazda, including all the cars on the Mazda Approved Used Scheme. Which begs the question – what on earth does that mean?

Allow us to explain. Horse and rider, car and driver means when you drive a Mazda, you and the car operate in harmony.

Still non the wiser? Basically, Mazda models are good fun to drive. The philosophy applies to all Mazdas – whether it's the Mazda 2, Mazda MX-30 electric car or the Mazda CX-5 SUV – you'll have great fun behind the wheel. If you like the sound of that and you're looking to save money on a new Mazda while keeping many of the benefits of a new one, read on.

Benefits of a Mazda Approved Used car

  • Each car comes with a minimum 12-month unlimited-mileage Mazda Warranty

  • Verified vehicle history and mileage check

  • Minimum 12-month European roadside assistance

  • Minimum 12-month MOT cover

What warranty do Mazda Approved Used cars come with?

All Approved Used Mazdas come with a 12-month Warraty, which – unlike many competitors – has no limit on mileage. The warranty covers everything except for wear and tear items – brake discs, pads, oil, filters and the like.

Is there MOT cover with Approved Used Mazdas?

Given that a Mazda from the Approved Used Scheme represents the cream of the crop, you'd expect it to pass its first MOT under your tenureship. And if it doesn't, Mazda will put £750 towards any repairs needed to get it through.

Is there an inspection with Approved Used Mazdas?

Yes, Mazda will give its cars a multi-point inspection and if any faults are found the car will be fixed with genuine Mazda parts.

Do Mazda Approved Used cars come with a history check?

Yes. Mazda will go through the car's history with a fine-tooth comb so you can buy safe in the knowledge that the car you're getting hasn't been stolen or written off and there's no finance outstanding.

Is there an exchange policy with Approved Used Mazdas?

Yup, that too. You're covered for 30 days/1000 miles after you buy your car so if there's an irreparable fault, you can swap it for a car of the same price or pay the extra on the balance of a more expensive replacement.

Are there any extras included with Mazda Approved Used cars?

Approved used Mazdas come with 12 months UK and European roadside assistance and Mazda will also pay up to £250 towards the excess of any insurance claim.

It depends on your needs. The Mazda 2 and 3 are practical for their size and also fun to drive, while the CX-3 and CX-5 SUVs trade some of their fun handling for even more practicality. If you love driving and don't care about passenger and boot space, few cars will make you smile uncontrollably quite like the MX-5 sports car.

Approved Used Mazdas are inspected pre-sale and come with a warranty – arguably, they're the best example of a second hand Mazda that you'll find for sale.

Generally speaking, Mazdas a very reliable – the CX-5 came third for reliability in the HonestJohn.co.uk 2020 Satisfaction Index, while the smaller CX-3 came an impressive eighth.
